Thank you for visiting PMV Rides! I go by PlayMorVeeola on Reddit (three guesses what I do when I'm offline), hence PMV here. The "Rides" part comes, of course, from roller coasters - the focus of this blog.
This blog is a personal journal for me. I am not close to the amusement industry and will never produce breaking news or rare content, except through freak coincidence. If you simply enjoy living vicariously through others' park experience, like the fine folks at /r/rollercoasters, you will hopefully find something to enjoy here.
Content will take one of four basic forms:
- Trip Reports - journal entries about park visits, in roughly chronological order, with short blurbs about each ride and any other noteworthy observations or events.
- Trip Albums - photo albums, usually corresponding to trip reports. While I do have some value to offer society, my photography skill is not part of it. You are free to use my photos, if you're truly desperate.
- Ride Reviews - if I ride an iconic coaster, hit a credit milestone, or I have an opinion that differs from the enthusiast mainstream, I will write an extended review.
- Trip Plans - these posts will probably be my least interesting for typical readers, since they include only hypothetical coaster content.
